This exhibition showcases the work of three leading women sculptors, each a true master of their chosen materials. These three leading women artists have their own unique sculptural language but share the rare quality of mastering both small scale and monumental outdoor sculpture.
Laura Ellen Bacon: renowned for her woven spaces created from willow now also exploring the assemblage of stone.
Helaine Blumenfeld OBE: a master marble carver with a career spanning 50 years creating spell-binding translucent marble sculptures as well as bronzes using pioneering patinas.
Sophie Ryder: unique in her treatment of wire and whose bronzes are a master-class in casting, each alive with texture, studded with machine parts and memories.
