I enjoy conveying a sense of energy in my work and wanted this work entitled, ‘Seeker’ to seem as if trying to find and push its own way. The willow I work with has an energy of its own; its desire to reach the light when previously alive may influence the shape and flex of the internal fibres and perhaps this is what I sense when making.
