'Of course it’s her work that is her overwhelming raison d’etre — the extraordinary shapes, and mythical yet somehow very human figures that she creates. ‘I like people who see them, to be made happy,’ she says. ‘And I love showing them in an exhibition. But I’d also like to get more work in public spaces around England so that the public can enjoy sculpture in everyday settings.’'
